DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne) is used in the azido-acetylene cycloaddition (SPAAC) reaction without the catalysis of copper ions. The second-order kinetic constant of this reaction can reach 1.The DBCO family of products includes DBCO-ACID, DBCO-amine, DBCO-PEG-COOH, DBCO-PEG-amine which can be used for further linkage, as well as DBCO-labeled Biotin, fluorescent dyes and biochemical small molecules.
